Bankside Cottage
Our idyllic detached stone cottage provides accommodation for up to four adults and two children (six guests altogether). The cottage is tastefully decorated well equipped and very well looked after.
There is a cosy, beamed-ceiling sitting room with a traditional open range fire. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a separate dining/breakfast room that can seat 6. There is also a utility room with a toilet, washing machine, dryer, small freezer and a small space for dogs. Please note there is a charge for pets, and pets must not be left at the property unattended.
Guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site.
There is also a garden with a BBQ and seating area that seats 6 for al fresco eating.
3 adult bikes and 1 smaller bike (suitable for 8 yrs old up) are available to use during your stay.
The accommodation is 15.5 miles from Buxton, 7.5 miles from Ashbourne.
We are also dog-friendly!
The Kitchen
Cooker:
The kitchen is equipped with an Everhot cooker, which is very straight forward to use and will create a lovely background warmth over the autumn and winter months.
Also In The Kitchen:
A Nespresso coffee machine
A standard microwave.
A dishwasher which is also very easy to use.
A dehumidifier which is on auto due to the seasonal weather and temperature changes.
The Bedrooms & Bathroom
Beds:
Our cottage offers a master bedroom with super king bed.
A double bedroom and a box room with bunk beds, which are suitable for children and small adults.
Family Bathrooom:
There is a large family bathroom with a large shower a bath for relaxing plus underfloor heating.
The Living Area
Open Fire:
If you’re staying in the autumn, winter and spring months, you will be provided with a complimentary basket of logs, kindling and a bucket of coal.
Media & Technology:
Flat screen TV with cable & satellite channels, & a DVD/Blu-ray player.
Outside
Bikes:
Bicycles can be found in the bike store at the rear of the cottage. There are 4 bicycles in different sizes for you to use. The bicycles are used at your own risk and it is up to you to ensure that they are in full working order and safe to use.
Barbeque:
A charcoal Barbeque can be found to the rear of the cottage in the brown locker for your use. The Barbeque tools are stored in the cupboard in the utility room.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Arrival & Departure
The property is available for your arrival any time from 4pm onwards and we kindly ask you to vacate by 10am on the day of your departure.
Due to Covid-19 we have an even more stringent cleaning routine and therefore we really appreciate your co-operation during these times.
Parking
There is a parking space for one car next to the cottage.
Please be careful when using the parking space as the entrance is a little narrow.
If you have more than one car, please the use additional parking facilities 100 yards up the hill on the left-hand side. It is advisable to leave a note on your windscreen to say you are a resident
at Bankside Cottage.
